Last year, Larry the Cable Guy stopped by Dakin Farm to film an episode for his show, “Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy.” It was a lot of laughs filming and we saw the episode for the first time as it aired this week on the History Channel.
Larry came by Grandma and Grandpa’s house for breakfast, as well as learned how to tap a maple tree with Sam Jr. in our woods. We even put him to work in the smokehouse, making maple sausage and slicing our famous cob-smoked bacon.
If you missed the show, you can follow this link to the episode, skipping forward to minute 18 to catch when he comes to Dakin Farm! http://www.history.com/videos/only-in-america-with-larry-the-cable-guy-larry-steps-into-the-ring#only-in-america-with-larry-the-cable-guy-larry-steps-into-the-ring. The episode is also available for purchase on iTunes, under the title “Larry Steps Into the Ring.” The show was certainly a ringer for us, we hope you can watch it. Git-R-Done!
